We put out our first volunteer newsletter in December and it was well received. I thought it would be a good method of reminding our volunteers that they can and should claim expenses if they want to...and I've had at least 4 volunteers claim expenses now who never have before. I'm really lucky that I have a person in our Comms team to go to, so I just wrote the content and she did all the formatting and sending through Mailchimp. I think without her it would be a much harder task!
